Vibrant Pregnancy

Regular chiropractic care plays an integral part in helping you adapt to all the changes in order to help you have the best pregnancy & birth experience possible.

Chiropractic care throughout pregnancy can greatly help avoid or reduce common pregnancy-related complaints such as neck and lower backaches, hip pain, sciatica, fatigue, swelling, and morning sickness. In addition, regular chiropractic care can help promote the best environment for your growing baby!

As a Webster Technique certified chiropractor, Dr. Sheena is trained to properly align the pelvis, balance the surrounding muscles, and release tension found in the ligaments surrounding the uterus to support both mom and baby. The Webster Technique has also helped women avoid unnecessary cesareans due to breach presentations or complications throughout their pregnancy.

We are here to support, educate, and empower you. We look forward to becoming part of your birth team!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • It’s never too early to start and you don’t have to wait until something is “wrong” before beginning care!

Most women find it beneficial to start as soon as they find out that they are pregnant. This is especially true for moms going into their second, third, etc. pregnancies. Consistent visits can help keep symptoms at bay as you progress through your pregnancy.

The bonus of beginning care early is that your visits are opportunities to ask questions and talk about birth plans & helpful resources.

  • What we know to be true is that some babies won’t move head down because of physical constraints like a short umbilical cord, wrapped cord, etc. However, by getting started early on in pregnancy we can align moms pelvis, balance muscle tone, and recommend specific exercises to ensure that baby is in a more optimal position.
